This bead making class will focus on making glass beads using a gas powered
Hot Head Torch. Students will use opal, cathedral, and special dichroic
glasses to create your own beads. Techniques including raking, dot making,
flattening and marvering, as well as torch and annealing techniques will
be taught. Also included is a demonstration on use of oxygen-propane Minor
Bench Burner for more advanced bead making. Class fee includes all material
for your beads and a pair of firing safety glasses (a $17.25 value) which
are yours to keep.
