Fused Powder Wafer Forms
This class is not currently scheduled for 2010. Please contact
us if you are interested in taking this class in the future.
This technique, made famous by Canadian glass artist Bob Leatherbarrow,
utilizes fusible powders to create complex design elements to be
included in larger fused glass projects. These wafers can be included
above, below, or within other layers of glass. Unique color combinations
and amazing gradations of shading are achievable using this technique.
The first day we will create the wafers themselves, the second day
we include them in our larger projects. Tools, glass powders and
firings are provided, the student will provide whatever other glasses
are needed to create their projects.
Location: Grand Ave.
