Pixie Dust Assortment. Pixie Dust is used to add sparkle or hi-light colors to glass beads. To use, place powder on a marvering pad or in a small metal bowl. Heat the bead very hot, and dip it into or roll it over the powder. Put th bead back into the flame to insure that the pixie dust is fully fused to the glass. When pixie dust powders are on the outside of a bead, they will entirely cover it and the color of the glass they are on will influence the final look. A dark colored glass will intensify the effect. When you cover the powders with a transparent glass, the density of the powder spreads out revealing the color underneath. This assortment contains 12 colors.
