The Quikfire kiln goes from 0° to 1000° in 4 3/4 minutes! It weighs 14 lbs. and fires on 120 volts. What took hours before, now can take only minutes. The Quikfire is a ceramic fiber shell with an embedded element. It rests on top of a ceramic fiber base. A brushed, stainless steel bottom completely covers the base and lifts it safely off your work surface. The kiln can reach 2000° in 14 1/2 minutes. The firing chamber size is 6” x 6” x 6”. The outside dimensions are 14 3/4” x 12 1/4” x 12 1/2”. It comes with a shelf kit.
