MURPHY FIRE BUCKET

Kiln workers, glass blowers, and bead makers alike will delight in using this tabletop glory hole. It is the heart of our special “short tool” system for working with molten glass. The Murphy Fire Bucket is a 2150° propane fueled heating chamber designed for the rapid melting of glass to make “hot parts”, stringers, pattern bars, canes, twists, hollow tubes, drip lines, and small blown objects such as rondels, perfume bottles, marbles, and paper weights. The bucket can also be elevated and placed on it’s back to heat a crucible of glass to it’s molten state for casting. The Murphy Fire Bucket has an internal blower and comes with a hose, regulator, shut-off valve and operators manual, punty rod, blow pipe, rod rest/wrapping form, long jaws, safety glasses. Exterior dimensions: 16” tall x 13” wide x 8” deep. Interior dimensions: 6” x 6” cylinder with a 5” chamber opening.
