Spectrum Glass

This is a high quality machine rolled excellent cutting glass. They produce a good cathedral, a good seedy glass (with seeds "or bubbles" that are slightly elongated), very good opals and wispy colors, along with hammered, granite, and smooth glass textures. They also produce a Waterglass — a horizontally drawn glass, stretched to produce a fluid luminescent character for a "water-like" appearance and a baroque glass — a glass with a swirly pattern. Spectrum’s newest texture is Artique. Artique is a recreation of the spirit and character of mouthblown antique glass. The texture is scribed into the glass surface while the sheet is still extremely hot and pliable.

We also have Spectrum’s Rack Pack. This contains 80 - 12" x 12" pieces of glass. There are 12-16 different colors per case with no more than 5 sheets of any one color. There are at least 25% premium glasses, including hots, irids, gold pinks, water glass, or baroque. Case - 14 3/4" wide, 17 1/4" high, 18" long and weights about 145 lbs.

We have over 150 different kinds of Spectrum glass in stock. Each stock sheet of Spectrum glass contains approximately either 4 or 8 sq. ft. Waterglass sheets slightly less — 3.33 or 6.66 sq. ft. We now stock Spectrum’s Clear Waterglass in 8 sq. ft. sheets
